In 1925 Roald Engelbregt Gravning Amundsen (1872-1928) attempted to fly to the North Pole with Lincoln Ellsworth (1880-1951), Hjalmar Riiser-Larsen (1890-1965) and 3 crew members, in two aircrafts, the N24 and the N25.
