Miss Winifred Emery playing Lady Teazle, born Maud Isabel Emery (August 1861- July 1924). She was an English actress and actor-manager of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She was the wife of the actor Cyril Maude. Born into a family of actors, Emery began acting as a child. She is dressed playing Lady Teazle, fictional character, the young, flirtatious, naive wife of an old London man in Richard Brinsley Sheridan's comedy The School for Scandal (1777). Date: circa 1900
