This vintage photograph captures the early Scheibe SF 25A Motor Falke, registration G-AVIZ (msn 4552), from the 1970s. The Scheibe SF 25A Motor Falke was a versatile ultralight aircraft, designed and manufactured by Scheibe Flugzeugbau in Germany. In this early rendition, the high-set wings are noticeable, with optional balancing wheels attached to the fuselage sides. This configuration differs from later versions of the Motor Falke, which featured low-set wings and pogo-style outriggers attached to the wings. The high-wing design and balancing wheels provided excellent stability and maneuverability for the pilot. The registration number G-AVIZ was cancelled on April 7, 1999, marking the end of this aircraft's flying career.
