Led by frontman John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten), along with Paul Cook, Steve Jones, and Sid Vicious, The Sex Pistols were notorious for their raw energy and provocative lyrics that challenged authority at every turn. Despite facing setbacks from record labels like EMI Records who dropped them after their television appearance caused an uproar, The Sex Pistols refused to be silenced.
