As the wave encounters these openings, they transform into new sources of waves, causing the original wavefronts to bend and form two sets of circular ripples that radiate outward. The interaction between these newly created waves gives rise to an intricate pattern known as an interference pattern. When peaks align with peaks or troughs coincide with troughs, they reinforce each other in what is called constructive interference. This reinforcement results in heightened magnitudes where the individual waves' strengths are summed.
