This card, sent for Christmas 1932, celebrates the Worlds Fastest Train. On 12th September 1932 a GWR train hauled by locomotive Montgomery Castle broke the speed record. The train was known as the Cheltenham Flyer. STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway.
