In the year 1528, a multitude of significant events unfolded across different parts of the world. Ambrose Dudley Warwick and Balthasar Hubmaier were prominent figures during this time, leaving their mark on history. Meanwhile, in the Azores Islands, a woodcut map created by Benedetto Bordone provided a glimpse into the beauty and geography of these enchanting lands. It was a testament to human curiosity and exploration. The political landscape also witnessed upheaval as Catherine of Aragon faced her infamous divorce from King Henry VIII. This event would forever alter the course of English history and have far-reaching consequences for both individuals involved. Amidst all these happenings, Margaret Vergh Gryffyth emerged as an intriguing figure - known as the horned woman. Her presence challenged societal norms and sparked curiosity among those who encountered her. Artistic expression flourished during this period too. Jan Cornelisz Vermeyen's painting "The Holy Family" captured the essence of familial love with its delicate brushwork and tender portrayal. Similarly, Albrecht Dürer's "The Annunciation" depicted a divine moment frozen in time through his masterful technique. On another continent, Juan de Garay laid the foundation for Buenos Aires for the second time - shaping its destiny as one of South America's most vibrant cities today. Philipp Schwarzerd Melanchthon played an influential role in religious reform alongside Martin Luther during this era. His intellectual contributions left an indelible mark on Protestantism and theological discourse at large. Lastly, Theodor de Bry showcased various aspects of life through his works such as "Ritual Friendship Dance" and "Brevis Narratio Eorum. " These illustrations offered glimpses into diverse cultures around the world while fostering understanding between different societies.
