The expulsion of Moriscos from Spain under Philip III's order marked a dark chapter in history, highlighting religious intolerance and persecution. On a brighter note, New River Head brought fresh water to Londoners for the first time. Fast forward to 1942 when American S160 Class locomotive No. 1609 arrived at Newport Docks—a symbol of industrial progress and transportation advancements during World War II. In Colmar, France, La Maison des Tetes showcased architectural splendor within its old town walls. Artistic endeavors thrived as Peter Paul Rubens immortalized himself and his wife Isabella Brandt in "Self-portrait with Honeysuckle.
