"The Ford Anglia: A Classic Car with a Rich History" The Ford Anglia, not to be confused with the company, holds a special place in the hearts of car enthusiasts. This iconic vehicle has left its mark on various events and locations throughout history. One notable mention is Jeremy Knight's thrilling race against an Austin A35 with license plate 189 DBH. The adrenaline-fueled competition between these two cars captivated spectators at the renowned Brands Hatch circuit on September 7th, 2014 during the BARC Club Car Championship. But it wasn't just about racing; the it also played a role in everyday life. In Swansea, South Wales back in 1964, Theo Paphitis snapped CM8 0489 as it cruised past The Plaza Cinema on Kingsway. Its presence added charm to the bustling streets illuminated by Christmas lights. In London, during December of 1962 when smog blanketed the city, traffic crawled along at a mere 2mph. Amongst this slow-moving chaos was HMD 408 B driven by Luc Wilson - his trusty Ford Anglia guiding him through the foggy haze. Martin Reynolds had quite an affinity for his Ford Anglia as evidenced by multiple snapshots featuring CJ10 and CM series plates. Whether it was CJ10 4979 or CJ10 4925 or even CM34 models like CM34 1856 and CM34 1774 - Martin cherished each moment spent behind its wheel. Not to be forgotten is Alex Williams who proudly owned CJ10 4945 - another testament to how beloved these vehicles were among their owners.
