Ogawa Hashizo, also known as Onoe Kikugoro III, was a renowned actor in the world of Japanese theater during the 19th century. His talent and versatility on stage captivated audiences and earned him great acclaim. In one notable play titled "Sato no Haru Meibutsu Amigasa, " created by Utagawa Kunisada in 1827, Ogawa Hashizo portrayed the character Nagoya Sanza with remarkable skill. Another masterpiece by Utagawa Kunisada features Ogawa Hashizo alongside Ichikawa Danjuro VII in a play called "Sukeroku.
