The textile, believed to be around 180-200 years old, holds great historical and cultural significance as it was specifically used for cremations. Its vibrant colors and intricate patterns make it an exquisite representation of Thai artistry. The fabric's regal allure is further enhanced by its association with mortuary and funerary practices. It served as a symbol of reverence and respect during solemn ceremonies, adding a touch of grandeur to the proceedings. The rich red hues evoke a sense of passion and vitality while also alluding to the theme of death.
