Built by Robert Steele and Co in 1878 for Charles Joseph Lambert as his private yacht, Wanderer was hailed as the epitome of opulence and comfort. With its sleek design and impeccable craftsmanship, it quickly gained recognition as the most luxurious private steam yacht ever constructed. Registered with the prestigious Royal Yacht Squadron, RYS Wanderer found its home at Cowes on the picturesque Isle of Wight.
