Stockton Preston Hall Museum, 15th July 1983. A trio of job creation workers have launched a Cleveland museums big push to get its collections of historic hand carts on the street. The three men on the Manpower Services Commission scheme at Stockton Preston Hall Museum have set the wheels in motion by starting renovation work on a 60 year old industrial fire cart donatedby a private collector. Pictured working on it are l-r Ivor Jenkinson, Nigel Alexander and Brian Hope. And when they have finished with that, they will move onto the other carts in the collection at Preston Hall Museum, Yarm Road, Preston Park, Stockton on Tees. 15th July 1983
