The poster shows holidaymakers on board the motorcruiser Joy and advertises floating holidays for £ 4 per week. Artwork by Arthur C Michael, a painter and etcher who worked mainly in watercolour or bodycolour. He illustrated books and periodicals as well as designing posters for LNER.
