Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) and London, Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) to promote rail travel to the Norfolk Broads, 200 Miles of Safe Inland Waterways. The poster shows holidaymakers on board the motorcruiser Joy and advertises floating holidays for £ 4 per week. Artwork by Arthur C Michael, a painter and etcher who worked mainly in watercolour or bodycolour. He illustrated books and periodicals as well as designing posters for LNER.
