The visit marked a significant milestone as Jung Bahadoor was the first high-caste Hindu from Nepal to set foot in the country. Appointed as an Ambassador Extraordinary by the King of Nepal, Jung Bahadoor was entrusted with a complimentary letter and valuable presents for Queen Victoria. His mission was a testament to the diplomatic relations between Nepal and Britain during the British Raj in India.
