Designed and built in the 1930s by Architect, Sir Lancelot Keay. 11 families of Gerard Gardens celebrate a victory over Liverpool City Council with their leader, John McShane, of the Gerard Community Housing Tenant Participation. A judge kicked out the councils application to throw out the families and flatten the homes, where some of them have lived since before the war. 7th August 1986
