EDITORS COMMENTS
This stunning print captures the Nord Aviation N 500 Cadet (msn 001) at the Paris Air Show in June 1967, with airshow serial 344. Built by Nord in 1966, this unique aircraft was powered by two Allison T63-A-5A engines and featured two large five-bladed ducted propellers. Measuring just 22 feet long and weighing only 2,760 pounds, the Cadet was a marvel of engineering.
The innovative design included four control vanes in a diamond shape at the exit end of the ducts, allowing for precise pitch and yaw control.
