The diamond brooch was a gift to Princess Victoria Melita from her grandmother, Queen Victoria, and the silver-framed mirror came from the officers of the 1st Wiltshire Regiment. The wedding cake was prepared by Messrs. Gunter and co. of Berkeley Square and stood at five feet, six inches high, weighing about 150 lbs. Date: 1894
