Capturing the essence of a bustling maritime town in the early 1900s, this print takes us back to Truro's Back Quay from Lemon Bridge. As high tide engulfs the scene, we are transported to a time when waterways were the lifeblood of trade and transport. In this snapshot frozen in time, a group of individuals, including a young lady, stand proudly facing the camera. Their curious gazes hint at an era filled with anticipation and possibility. Alongside them lie two majestic sailing barges, their sails gracefully billowing in the wind. Further down the quay stands a larger vessel, its imposing presence adding depth to this vibrant harbor panorama. The architectural landmarks that frame this picturesque view add character to Truro's waterfront charm. On the left side stands City Hall, an emblematic symbol of civic pride and governance.
