Mitchell and Co...The first vessel launched was a screw steam-yacht for Mr. Geo. Bidder, of London. The machinery is a beautiful marine adaptation of Messrs. R. Stephenson and Co.'s locomotive engine...The second vessel was a handsome steamer, about two hundred feet long, named the Paris; to be followed by a sister ship, the Hamburg - both being intended for the conveyance of passengers and merchandise between the ports of Hamburg and Havre...the machinery for these steamers has been constructed by Messrs.
