Mitchell and Co...The first vessel launched was a screw steam-yacht for Mr. Geo. Bidder, of London. The machinery is a beautiful marine adaptation of Messrs. R. Stephenson and Co.'s locomotive engine...The second vessel was a handsome steamer, about two hundred feet long, named the Paris; to be followed by a sister ship, the Hamburg - both being intended for the conveyance of passengers and merchandise between the ports of Hamburg and Havre...the machinery for these steamers has been constructed by Messrs. R. Morrison and Co...The third launch was that of the Eupatoria, a large screw collier [coal ship]...The engines have been made by Messrs. R. Stephenson and Co'. From "Illustrated London News", 1856
